On May 17, 2007, Dan Fallon of Carnegie Corporation of New York testified before the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Education and Labor. In his presentation entitled, “Preparing Teachers for the Classroom: The Role of the Higher Education Act and No Child Left Behind,” Fallon provided an overview of the TNE initiative and described three early findings emerging from TNE and their potential relevance to the committee’s deliberations.
