NIWL offers a wide range of services to institutions of education, business, and government at the national, state, and local levels. These services include: providing technical assistance in building community collaborations; planning and conducting training and active facilitation; evaluating school, district, state and national programs; designing and conducting national, regional, and local conferences and teleconferences;  performing needs assessments; planning and implementing action and capacity-building projects; synthesizing and disseminating information; providing research and policy analyses; and initiating and facilitating ongoing dialogues among practitioners and policy makers. Some of the services for which NIWL is particularly well known include the following:

Strategic Planning and Organizational Development

Design and delivery of strategic planning activities and exercises customized to the interests, needs, and goals of individual clients.
Active facilitation designed to bring diverse groups of stakeholders to consensus.
Translation of abstract, “big picture” goals and objectives into realistic and measurable action plans.
Full-range of post-planning support services including troubleshooting, process evaluations, and design of self-assessment instruments.
