TNE's
Virtual Library began as a series of emails sent to individuals
involved
in the project. These periodic "News & Views" were a way of sharing
new research with the sites. As the four initial projects began
doing their work, they realized that they were all doing a lot of
reading, but they wanted to know what everyone else was reading as
well. The idea for the Virtual Library was born.
This library is formatted to track the Design Principles as outlined
in the TNE prospectus:
Decisions Driven by Evidence
Engagement with the Arts &
Sciences
Teaching as an Academically
Taught Clinical Practice
Issues to be Addressed
Jointly by Faculties in Education and the Arts & Sciences
Because
there is always new research, we will be updating often. You may notice
that some sections have more content than others, and we will strive
for greater balance as we add more links. We
have also created a "General" category
which includes everything that doesn't fit neatly within the above
principles. In recognition of the inter-related nature of the design
principles, some items may be listed under two or more categories.
